STM Series General Features

A new series of truck mounted forklift is now available from Sellick. The STM (Sellick Truck Mount) has replaced the TMF model.

The all-new designed is now available in capacities from 5,500 to 7,000 lbs and different profiles to expand your customer base. The offset operator position offers excellent visibility, operator comfort and provided the option to develop a low profile model, STM55LP, for the poultry industry.

An all new mast design features higher capacity load rollers, and corrosion resistant lift chains to reduce operating costs and downtime. The carriage was upgraded to Class III and width increased to 48 inches ideal for multi-fork applications like brick and block. The frame opening increased from 57 to 60 inches providing a full six inches of mast side shift.

Each STM is powered by smooth and quiet Kubota Tier III, 50 HP, four cylinder, liquid cooled, diesel engine. The STM still has operator friendly automotive controls with an upgraded controller that features anti-stall. All STM models are full time three-wheel drive and traction control is now equipped with automatic disengagement allowing the operator to have both hands at the controls.

With a higher capacity to 7,000 pounds now available, the STM70 is ideal for handling drywall, pressure treated lumber, wall panels and other extended load center applications.

For applications where customer’s wish to unload products from one side, the STM55P is equipped with a pantograph that has 48 inches reach allowing retrieval of loads at any point along the truck or trailer.

A wide range of options include various lift heights, forks, cold weather packages, tires and mounting packages to fit competitor mounts.
